Frequently asked questions
Where are you located? How do I book?
Located on the outskirts of the Charleswood neighborhood, Winnipeg Manitoba. All visits and drop-offs are by appointment only.

What vaccinations are required?
Cats must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper (FVRCP) and, if over 6 months, spayed or neutered. Feline Leukemia vaccination is highly recommended. A vet record is required in order to book.
Are you insured and what's your cleaning protocol?
Yes! Insured and thoroughly background checked. We sanitize between guests using veterinarian-grade cleaning products to quickly kill bacteria and stop viruses. All fabrics are washed between guests.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring enough of your cat's own food for the full stay, along with any medications and a familiar blanket or toy. Food replenishment is charged at cost plus $5.00. We do not provide 'house food' as changes can cause dietary upset. We provide boxes, dishes, blankets, toys and clumping or pellet litter.
Will my cat be stressed in a new place?
Any change can be an adjustment, however with our experience and expertise, most cats adapt quickly in this environment. Meowtel Inn was designed specifically for cat comfort and behavior. We will be honest if we believe boarding isn't the right choice for your cat.
Do you provide day care? Can we tour or visit?
All services are by appointment only to reduce disruption and stress for our guests. Contact us if you would like to arrange a visit.
We do not support or provide cat 'daycare' or day only boarding and we are not a facility.
